Acting America is a bilingual performing arts school were everyone has a place

We are specialized in Musical Theater and we also offer the great experience of a cultural exchange program between New York and Spain (Madrid), in collaboration with Acting School of Arts of Madrid, with more than a decade of experience developing our students talent.

Acting America was born after many years training all types of students and developing their talents based in a positive and motivating methodology that all our teachers use. We offer different Programs, based on developing artistic habilities on one hand and on the other, language training.

THE TEAM

The promoters of this new center are Laura Castrillón (renowed musical actress in Spain. Director and professor in Acting America) Patricia Chávarri (current director and owner of Acting in Spain)

LAURA CASTRILLÓN

singing and acting instructor, life coach and musical actress. An expert in the vocal instrument, she has completed many years of training and various master´s degrees in voice. Actress with national recognition in musical theater in Spain.She has worked in major productions on Madrid´s Gran Vía (the “Spanish Broadway”) and national tours.As vocal coach, she is passionate about merging personal growth and teaching as a learning methodology for students. She has been teaching singing lessons for more than 15 years and helped students from all the world to achieve their vocal and personal goals.

PATRICIA CHÁVARRI

Entrepreneur, passionate about musical theater and bussines woman; student of the performing arts and the business world, with several business master´s degrees. She created her performing arts school at the age of 21 and led this business to success, despite being a little-known market in the city of Madrid and a situation of economic crisis in the country. It is current successfully overcoming the crisis caused by Covid 19 pandemic
